As I have noted already in this blog, this book is a fantastic analysis of the impact of the gospel on our lives and the problems inherent in viewing the gospel as merely the initiation of the Christian life, as is common today. Horton urges us daily to be mindful of the gospel as THE central truth of our daily walk, and indeed the totality of our lives from beginning to end - and warns against the erroneous conceptions of the gospel that are prevalent in today's church.
